October is Canadian Wool Month and in celebration Creative Matters has joined forces with The Campaign for Wool in Canada (a patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales) to develop an exciting new product: Needle Felted wallcoverings made from 100% Canadian wool. Needle felting is an age old process and these soft wall coverings made with local, sustainable Canadian wool bring all the benefits of wool to any space. The benefits of using wool in interiors includes natural fire resistance, sound insulation and the ability to clean the air by trapping volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like formaldehyde. 

This workshop will guide participants through some of the history of needle felting and cover some previous Creative Matters projects. Participants will gain an understanding of the artistry and skill required to create their own handmade needle felted art piece (12" x 12") to take home. Creative Matters has hosted numerous creative programs for the interior design community both in Canada and internationally.
