As 2021 marks the 25th anniversary of SuperSkillz, it poses a great challenge to host a virtual show for our attendees. The Filipino Canadian Students’ Association (FILCASA) hosts the annual talent show SuperSkillz, which strives to intertwine both Filipino and North American culture together and promote the dynamic of both cultures while staying true to our roots. Our show exhibits singing, dancing, spoken word, theatrical groups, and other unique performances. We welcome distinguished guests to witness performances that will be brought to the stage. 

Our theme for Superskillz 2021, "Sa Silangan" which translates to "In The East", was inspired by the lyrics in the Philippine national anthem, "Perlas ng Silanganan," referring to the Philippines as "Pearl of the East."

Being Filipino, we are rooted in the East but as Filipino-Canadians we invited our performers to reflect, reclaim, and redefine what it means to be Filipino-Canadian through art forms.
