In recognition of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, this Zoom event will address how gender inequalities in healthcare and society at large have perpetuated gender-based violence, particularly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Both the international not-for-profit Medical Herstory and the UN Women’s organization at the University of Cambridge are excited to present a panel of experts and activists whose work ranges from journalism to direct response community work.
