Conservation biologist Anuradha Rao is the author of the book One Earth: People of Color Protecting Our Planet, which profiles Black, Indigenous and People of Color who live and work as environmental defenders. In this talk and celebration of diverse voices, Anu will discuss the intersectionality of race, culture and environment, and share tools for merging environmental and social justice as well as traditional knowledge with western science.

La biologiste et protectrice de l’environnement Anuradha Rao est auteure du livre «One Earth: People of Color Protecting Our Planet», qui dresse le profil de personnes Noires, Autochtones et racisés qui vivent et travaillent comme défenseur·e·s de l'environnement. Dans cette conférence, qui est aussi une célébration de voix diverses, Anu discutera de l'intersection de la race, de la culture et de l'environnement, et partagera des outils pour associer la justice environnementale et la justice sociale, ainsi que les connaissances traditionnelles et la science occidentale.
