Determining youth climate policy priorities and visioning the future.

About this Event

This is a free event hosted by the Canadian Institute for Climate Choices youth engagement team with the intention of introducing the Institute and to convening young people aged 18-30 around a conversation on climate policy priorities. Your voices will help inform the research and recommendations that the Institute produces for policy decision-makers as well as our future youth engagement initiatives. We encourage all to register. Please note that we will prioritize youth who are underrepresented in climate change decision-making and disproportionately face the impacts of climate change. This is inclusive of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Colour), LGBTQ2S+ youth, Northern youth, youth living with disabilities, and youth in rural or remote areas.

Cet événement gratuit est organisé par l’équipe de l'Institut canadien pour des choix climatiques chargée de l’engagement des 18 à 30 ans. Il a pour but de présenter l’Institut et de générer une conversation portant sur les priorités en matière de politique climatique. Vos voix contribueront à la fois à éclairer les recherches et les recommandations produites par l’Institut destinées aux décideurs politiques, ainsi qu’à informer nos initiatives d’engagement jeunesse. Tous sont encouragés à s’inscrire. Veuillez noter que nous donnerons la priorité aux jeunes qui sont sous-représentés dans les processus de décisions et qui font face de manière disproportionnée aux impacts des changements climatiques. Cela inclut les personnes Noires, Autochtones, et racialisées, LGBTBS+, les jeunes du Nord, ceux vivant avec un handicap et ceux habitant dans les régions rurales ou éloignées.
