Living in Between Cultures is a free writing workshop made for BIPOC, immigrant, & refugee youth of all writing levels.
About this Event
Are you a young Black, Indigenous, and/or Person of Colour (BIPOC), immigrant, or refugee? Are you an aspiring writer or someone who’s curious to explore the world of words? Do you want to share your story of living in between cultures?
#RisingYouth and Living Hyphen are bringing you Living in Between Cultures - a free writing workshop made for BIPOC, immigrant, & refugee youth of all writing levels. We’ll be exploring our hyphenated identities as individuals who call Canada home but who may have roots in different, often faraway places!
We’ve designed this workshop to be intimate, jam-packed with writing, and simply magical! We’ll give you writing prompts to spark your creativity and give time and space to share your story in a safe and positive environment.
No writing experience necessary.
